Maine

I promise I don't have a good excuse as to why this blog has been neglected for so long... Maybe I've been saving the universe... yeah, that's probably it.

But I think it's time I get back into writing on this thing. What do you say?

Dreams are a marvelous thing. Just like my favorite song "Waterloo Sunset" so beautifully illustrates, as long as you gaze on, you are in paradise.

Freeport, Maine. Taking the Downeaster to Boston. Taking my family out on a Sailboat, to Red Sox games, and to the Boston Temple. Camping in Acadia National Park and looking at the Northern Lights. Being at home. Being a good father. These are all my dreams, among other things.

    You're going, man! You're moving to Burlington Vermont in August of 2017 to start an MA History program at the University of Vermont. I guess it's not EXACTLY Maine, but it is close enough. I promise I'll go get a picture in Freeport for you.
